Daniel Walsh is the founder and CEO of Citymark Capital. Citymark Capital is a real estate private equity fund management company with expertise on investing in apartment properties and mixed use real estate projects in the top 50 markets in the United States.
Prior to founding Citymark Capital, Daniel was President, Northeast Ohio for Huntington National Bank, joining the company in May 2010. Walsh’s responsibilities included management and oversight of all Huntington business activities in the Northeast Ohio metropolitan market. Huntington is a $100 billion bank headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to Huntington, Walsh was national head of KeyBank’s Real Estate Capital Markets businesses where he managed the Fund Management, CMBS, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA and Life Company whole loan placement businesses conducted by more than 200 professionals in 16 offices in major metropolitan areas across the US.
In 2016, Walsh was appointed to the board of directors for the Cleveland Foundation by the administrative judge, 8th Ohio District Court of Appeals. Walsh also serves on the following boards: Destination Cleveland (current Chair); Cleveland Museum of Art (Building and Grounds Committee chair); Cleveland Orchestra; United Way of Greater Cleveland; Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; Playhouse Square (Chair, Real Estate Committee), and ideastream (Chair, Finance Committee).
He received his B.A. in Management and MBA from the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland, Ohio. Walsh also holds his Juris Doctor degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law, with a certification in environmental and energy law practice.

Duane’s experience is rich in managing a real estate portfolio and is with deep expertise in operations. Most recently Duane served as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Forest City Realty Trust in Cleveland, OH prior to its acquisition by Brookfield Asset Management in December 2018. Earlier in his career at Forest City, he was the EVP of Asset Management for the Commercial Group. As a leader, he chaired the Real Estate Operating Committee and was a member of Executive and Investment Committees. One of four executives making final Investment Committee decisions.
Duane’s career is a success story. He is known for negotiating and closing complex, multi-billion-dollar transactions. He has been recognized for his ability to generate high level returns. He has also coached and led cross functional teams.
Duane is widely respected for community engagement and service. He served as past treasurer of the ICSC Foundation; past chairman and governance chair of Providence House, a Cleveland organization committed to child abuse prevention and family preservation; and as a board member of the Western Reserve Fire Museum. Additionally, Duane serves on the Baldwin-Wallace University Board of Trustees. Throughout his career, he has served on multiple boards of civic organizations in Cleveland and Los Angeles.
Bishop graduated from Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea, Ohio, with a degree in Business and Accounting. He is also certified in Shopping Center Management.

Matthew Porath is the Director of Investor Relations at Citymark Capital. Mr. Porath is responsible for the coordination and support of all fundraising and business development initiatives with both existing and prospective Citymark Capital investors. Prior to joining Citymark Capital in 2019, Mr. Porath was a Vice President in sales at Zelman & Associates, an institutional housing research firm. At Zelman, Mr. Porath worked with global institutional investment managers, including hedge funds, mutual funds, pension funds and private equity firms. Prior to Zelman, Mr. Porath was an analyst in the Private Wealth Management division of J.P. Morgan. Mr. Porath received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Boston College. He lives in Cleveland and is active in numerous local organizations and alumni associations. He enjoys all that Northeast Ohio has to offer.

Ms. Martucci is responsible for investor reporting, fund performance modeling and reporting, and managing parent entity back office operations.
Prior to joining Citymark Capital in 2019, Ms. Martucci was a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Brookfield Properties in their Multifamily sector. In this role, she was responsible for the reporting requirements of a multifamily portfolio valued at $7.2 billion. Prior to this role, she served as the Director of Property Accounting at The NRP Group LLC, a national multifamily housing developer, general contractor, and property manager. Ms. Martucci began her career in Assurance Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers, focused in the real estate sector.
Ms. Martucci earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at Ohio University. She resides in Northeast Ohio with her husband and their three children.

Chris Rau is the Director of Asset Management at Citymark Capital. Mr. Rau is responsible for the ongoing management, strategy and financial performance of the properties within Citymark Capital’s portfolio.
Prior to joining Citymark Capital in 2020, Mr. Rau was the National Operations Manager at QIC, a global diversified alternative investment firm. While at QIC, Mr. Rau was responsible for the day-to-day property operations across the firm’s U.S. retail real estate portfolio. Prior to QIC, Mr. Rau was the Director of Energy & Sustainability at Forest City Realty Trust.
Mr. Rau received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Georgetown University. He resides in Northeast Ohio with his wife and son

As an Senior Associate at Citymark, Austin's responsibilities include evaluating new investments and assisting in due diligence.
Prior to working at Citymark, Austin spent eight years at Forest City Realty Trust. In his most recent role at Forest City, he worked in the financial planning and analysis group, where he was responsible for budgeting, analyzing, and financial reporting for assets generating $150M of net operating income. Prior to that, he worked in the investor relations and capital markets group focusing on supporting external and internal stakeholders, while assisting on corporate equity and debt offerings.
Austin has a BS in Finance from the Miami University Farmer School of Business. He resides on Cleveland’s west side with his wife and two children.

In her most recent role as Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis in the Northeast sector, she was responsible for the reporting requirements of a commercial portfolio valued at $5.9 billion. Prior to this role, she was Manager of Investor Relations, responsible for developing and fostering relationships between leadership and stakeholders of the company. She began her career as an analyst in the Investor Relations group.
Ms. Banda holds a BA in Mathematics from Mercyhurst University, and an MBA from Cleveland State University Monte Ahuja College of Business. She lives in Cleveland.

Auni Haapalahti is the Executive Assistant to Mr. Walsh. She also provides administrative support to the Citymark Team.
Prior to joining Citymark in 2017, Ms. Haapalahti was Head of Administration at Courtland Partners, an institutional real estate advisory firm. At Courtland, Ms. Haapalahti supported the Executive Team in business operations, particularly data room and client relationship management. In her prior position at Courtland, she was the Executive Assistant to the firm’s founder and Managing Principal.
Ms. Haapalahti received a BA in Business Administration from Stockholm Business School, University of Stockholm, and she is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified. Ms. Haapalahti resides in Rocky River and enjoys running and biking in the nearby Cleveland Metroparks.
